STERLING SILVER ROLLAGRAPH BUTTERFLY CARDS

Hi Everyone,

I held the Sterling Silver Rollagraph Butterfly Card Workshop tonight and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you to Carmen, Marg, Annette and Stacey for attending. It was also excellent value for $20.

I suggested to the girls to do the cards again in a different colour, and the girls thought this was a good idea. Carmen has picked the colour red, Marg has picked the colour green, Annette picked the colour orange and Stacey picked the colour pink, and I have picked the colour purple.

Hopefully, I can share their creations with you next week.

NEW CLOCK FOR MY STUDIO

Hi Everyone,

This afternoon I decided a new clock was in order for my studio. I loved the new paper release in September and wanted to use the "Cyan Jade" SB Foundations Paper for it. For the numbers, I painted our chipboard numbers in Pitch Black and also edged the clock in Pitch Black Paint.

To embellish, I used the rub-ons: some of the flourishes from "Flourish and Floral Bling", and some words from "Elegant Inspirations Bling". I love the large daisies and had to use these as well as the small daisy for the centre of the clock. Anyway, I was really happy with the end result.

3D EZY-PRESS HANDBAGS

Hi Everyone,

It was mentioned by one of my Consultants, Carmen, that in the photos, you may not be able to see that the handbags are 3D. To remedy that, I have taken another photo of the bags on their side. These handbags are really cute and good for parties to put lollies in, or for weddings to use as bombonieres. I might have a go at these tonight.

I have left these handbags plain, but you can embellish them in any way you like.

EZY-PRESS DISPLAY

Thought I would share a photo of some items that I made with our new "bellish Ezy-Press", roller die-cutting and embossing machine exclusive to Kaszazz.

I had so much fun making up this display. Just think of all the creative possibilities with this machine. Thanks to Carol Poole for coming up with this idea.

CHANGE OF TIME TO FLOURISH SQUARE CLOCK WORKSHOP

I have had to change the time for the Flourish Square Clock Workshop on the 13th January from 10am - 12.30pm to the new time of: 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

ATC Swap for January

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to remind you all that the theme for January's Artist Trading Card will be "Bears".

Each person will have to create 5 ATC's measuring 2.5" x 3.5". You also have to use Kaszazz products only. On the back of each card, you need to put your name on them, the title or theme of the ATC and the number (1/5, 2/5.......) if it's part of an edition / series, as well as the date the ATC's were made.

As we have Team Training Day on the 15th of this month, we can swap the ATC's then to save on postage.
I had a dear friend ask: "What do you do with ATC's?"

The answer to this is: (a) you can collect them and display the cards in an album, or
(b) you can use the cards to embellish your own handmade cards, or
(c) do anything creative with them that you like, eg: put them inside a name tag to make a unique piece of jewellry.

Remember, ATC's are mini works of art and are meant to be lots of fun. They can only be swapped or given away and never sold.

I had a very productive day in my studio organising the timetable for this month's workshops, decluttering of paperwork, newsletter for this month, organising my mail out lists and more.....

19th January at 10am to 12.30pm: Grandfather Heritage Double Page Layout. Cost: $25
21st January at 7pm to 9.30pm: Funky Stand Up Frame. Cost: $45
23rd January at 1pm to 3.30pm: Love and Cherish Page and Pocket Pieces. Cost: $25
28th January at 7pm to 9.30pm: Waterfall Flip Tag Album. Cost: $25

30th January at 1pm to 3.30pm: SB Photo Birdhouse. Cost: $20

Please contact me if you wish to book into one of these workshops on 0427 511683. A $10 deposit must be paid at time of booking into the workshop and the remainder to be paid at the completion of the workshop.

For those of you who would like to attend any of the workshops but can't because of distance. I am happy to do up kits for you with full instructions.
