Hi Everyone,
Here are the instructions for the November Cyber Crop.
INGREDIENTS:
1
x SB essential plain colour, 1x full sheet pattern paper, 4 x 1/4 sheet
(6" x 6") different pattern papers, 4 photos measuring 2.5" x 2.5"
square...lots of squares this time! Don't forget your embellishments etc. ♥
Start by choosing a pattern paper for your base page. Also choose a
plain paper and cut this to measure 9” across and 11” long. Lay this over the
pattern paper ½ “ down from top and ½” in from right hand edge. There should be
an even border around these edges and the bottom. Feel free to stick down if
you wish although I prefer to wait until a little further along.
Choose a 2nd SB Essential paper to create a piece measuring 6” square.
This will be the photo mat for your 4 photos. Trim your pictures to measure
2.5” square and arrange in a grid layout on the photo mat (attach these now so
they don’t run away on you!)
Choose 3 patterns and 1 plain SB colour and trim to make 4 x 4” squares.
It would be a great time to distress, punch decorate the edges for these
squares. Remember if you are punching the edges with something you will be
reducing it's size xxx
Lay the 4” squares on your base page, on the plain SB colour. Overlap
these while keeping them located centrally. When you are happy with this lay
your photo mat over the top, this will be approximately 2.5” down from the top
of the base page (the original pattern base).
Create a title for the page and add this to the top left hand of the
page overlapping onto the pattern squares. You may like to have an
embellishment such as ribbon trailing down the page from the beginning of the
title.
Add an embellishment to the bottom of the page lining up the centre of
it with the centre of your photo grid. This looks great sitting on the edge of
the SB and pattern base pieces.
*** INSTRUCTION
#7 ***
Add an embellishment to the top right hand corner of the 9x11 piece.
*** INSTRUCTION #8 ***
As always, doodle, journal and add your finishing touches! I think this layout would look great with some doodling...but I am addicted to my black pen!
